JAVIERA VEAS

Javiera began studying music in Belgium at the age of five, starting with Dalcroze Eurhythmics. Her early musical education also included several years of music theory, spinet and piano, alongside theatre, improvisation and dance.
Her Chilean roots later drew her to Latin America, where she sang for three seasons with the Coro Sinfónico Nacional de Costa Rica and studied classical singing at the Escuela Moderna de Música in Santiago, Chile. Back in Belgium, she pursued jazz singing and musicianship, including studies at the Lemmens Institute in Leuven.
Her experience extends to circle singing, vocal improvisation, rhythm and harmony, complemented by Song Leader Training in the UK. Having completed the MVT Singers Programme, she is now working towards her vocal coach certification.
Beyond music, Javiera brings a professional background in human resources leadership, communication and literary translation. Her approach emphasises listening, human connection and the physical experience of rhythm and sound.
