THE STYLING TOOLBOX

A good foundation in technique opens the door for stylistic freedom. We need this freedom in order to be versatile as a singer and to be able to sing different genres.
This class is about exploring that stylistic freedom looking at the different things we can do with our voice – the styling toolkit. More importantly – How do we apply this toolbox to the requirements of different genres? What do different genres require in terms of rhythm, groove, phrasing, ornamentation or effects, texture or colour in our vocal tone, dynamic range?
Both full of information and lots of practical application, this class will be both informative and fun.
