ONE STORY: DUETS AND TRIOS

You know that special feeling we all get from hearing singers harmonize perfectly? That moment when they seem to be continuing the thought of the other as if they were one instrument even if their voices are completely different from each other? The great duets and trios are not the ones where simply great singers come together to sing the same song! The magic is elsewhere. It’s the dynamic between them, their responsiveness and connection.

We’ll be working on all the elements that make up great duets and trio songs. Acoustics and harmonies, artistry, connection, interpretation, style. We’ll work on songs and do exercises that show you what it means to connect to another singer. We’ll do experiments and take you out of your comfort zone so that you can step into that special dynamic of creating a complete artistic experience with another singer. If you would like to sign up for this workshop, please have in your mind and know two/three songs that were already sung as duets, and two/three songs that are not duets or trios, but you’d love them to be one! There is a surprise waiting for all participants right at the start!
